What a submission keeps
- What you type
- The kind, the title, the description, the two extra answers under "Something is broken", and your email if you give one. A screenshot if you attach one.
- What is kept without being typed
- The page you came from.
- Which build of this site you sent it from.
- When you sent it.
- Your browser and operating system, as your browser states them.
- The link you followed here, where it carried a source, for example from a letter or from the app.
- Your account, where you are signed in to the TimeWitness app in this browser and the email you give is the one on that account.
- What is not kept
- Your network address is not stored with it. Each send is counted for a day, under a short code many addresses share or under your account where your account is on it, so one sender cannot flood the page. This page sets no cookie and nothing here tracks you.
- Your email address
- It is used only to tell you when your point is dealt with. Never for marketing.
- Who sees it
- It is kept where only TimeWitness can read it. Nobody is emailed your submission, and it is not published.
- Having one removed
- Write to privacy@timewitness.dev and it is deleted, screenshot included. If your account is on it, it is also deleted when you delete your account.
